Here are some shots of Sydney's Darling Harbour, Circular Quay and Pyrmont taken from an iPhone 3GS. I have then done some quick editing and retouching to give the photos a nice finish. The iPhone only has a 3.1 megapixel camera, however the shots didn't turn out that bad. It shows that you can take decent scenery photos with an iPhone or any other smartphone.

To edit your photos, there are many applications to choose from. For free and open source photo editing software, I choose Picassa for simple image touch ups and for more precision editing, I choose GIMP. As for paid photo editing software my favourites are; Adobe Lightroom 4 and if you own a Mac, Aperture 3 is great.
